Course Information:

This qualification course provides First Aid Responder with skills to further enhance their First Aid training. It is recommended as training for first aid responder in the workplace environment who have access to a defibrillator. Delegates gaining this qualification will know that Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation form an essential part of the chain of survival.

This course is for anyone with limited and no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid, CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

Course Information:

Emergency management provides a structure for anticipating and dealing with emergency incidents. Emergency management involves participants at all governmental levels and in the private sector. Activities are geared according to phases before, during, and after emergency events. The effectiveness of emergency management rests on a network of relationships among partners in the system. The goal of this course is to introduce the student to the fundamentals of emergency management as an integrated system, surveying how the resources and capabilities of all functions at all levels can be networked together in all phases for all hazards.

The Disaster Preparedness Management Training Course a comprehensive capstone activity where learners apply the knowledge and skills learned in the course. After completing all modules, you will have a better understanding of the disaster related rapid needs assessments and surveillance necessary to support responses to disasters and other public health emergencies.
