Emergency Response Team (ERT) Training
The Emergency Response Team (ERT) Training is a structured, competency-based program designed to equip designated personnel with the knowledge and practical skills required to respond effectively to workplace emergencies. The training emphasizes prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery, enabling participants to act safely, decisively, and in coordination with internal teams and external emergency services, in compliance with UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, OSHA, NFPA, and ISO 45001 requirements.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of the ERT Training, participants will be able to:
- Understand ERT roles, responsibilities, and response limitations
- Identify workplace hazards and potential emergency scenarios
- Activate and operate within the Incident Command System (ICS)
- Perform safe and effective initial emergency response actions
- Properly use firefighting equipment and emergency resources
- Execute evacuation, search, and personnel accountability procedures
- Provide basic life support and first aid until professional responders arrive
- Communicate clearly and effectively during emergency situations
- Support post-incident reporting, evaluation, and debriefing
